Job summary

The Atlas Hotel's Knotted Thistle Pub in Regina is hiring a friendly server/bartender. You will welcome guests, take orders, pour drinks, and share in a lively, hospitality‑driven team. Candidates should enjoy talking to hotel guests and locals while providing excellent service in a cozy Irish pub setting.

We value a 19+ age requirement and a Serve It Right certificate, plus 6 months to 1 year in serving or bartending. Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of serving or bartending experience.
• Be over the age of 19.
• Hospitality mindset and friendly attitude toward guests.
• Outgoing, confident, flexible and able to prioritize tasks.
• Open availability Thursday to Sunday and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks to patrons.
• Engage with guests including hotel guests and locals.
• Work with a mix of opening and closing shifts, primarily evenings and weekends.

Located in Regina's coolest independent hotel (The Atlas°), the Knotted Thistle Pub is ready to add a lass or lad to the crew!

You'll have the opportunity to serve our famous yards of beer, flights of wine or scotch, or our heaping plate of delicious Irish Nachos (don't worry, you'll get an awesome discount so you can take some nachos home for yourself). The Knotted Thistle also has a fun working atmosphere. We're all close mates here. The tips are excellent, the shifts are flexible, with our busiest times being evenings and weekends.

Our ideal candidate would:

• Have six months to one year of experience in serving and/or bartending. Having multiple years of experience is not required, but would be beneficial.
• Be over the age of 19.
• Havehospitality running through their veins. (Not literally; if you do, you might have to go check that out.) But seriously, we want someone who would enjoy talking to our friendly business clients, local regulars, and our out-of-town hotel guests while serving a pint or two.
• Be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly, and have the ability to prioritize tasks when needed.
• Available to work a mix of opening and closing shifts. Open availability between Thursday and Sunday is essential.
• Holds a valid Serve It Right certificate.
