Job summary

Red Bull is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to support residents in a Long Term Care setting in North York, Ontario. Under the physiotherapist's supervision, you will help implement treatment plans, assist with exercises, and monitor progress in a resident-centered environment.

You will document sessions, assist with mobility and transfers, and report changes in health status to the supervising therapist. A provincial PTA credential and clean vulnerable sector check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have PTA graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to communicate well with elderly residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with group or one-on-one exercises under the Physiotherapist's direction.
• Encourage residents to achieve goals of treatment programs.
• Document treatments and residents' progress after each session.
• Assist residents with walking, sitting, and transferring.
• Monitor changes to residents' health and report to Physiotherapist or supervisor.
• Perform treatments such as ice packs, ultrasound, TENS, hot wax, etc.
