Job summary

Thrifty-Foods is seeking a Grocery Clerk to perform a full range of duties in a fast-paced retail environment. You will deliver excellent customer service, support stock management, and maintain a clean, safe store while promoting featured products.

The role requires independence, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods. This position supports team training and daily store operations.

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives.
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock according to inventory control procedures.
• Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.
• Increase store sales by promoting featured products.
• Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping areas clean and presentable.
• Prep customer orders as required.
• Process department shrink as required.
• Participate in training of junior staff.
• Other duties as required.

The Grocery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

• Prep Customer orders, as required
