Job description

Reputable Community Healthcare Clinic seeks an experienced Full or Part-time Psychiatrist. The position may be remote with a California license, with a preference for hybrid and/or onsite work within a commutable distance to Healdsburg / Windsor, CA.

The full or part-time Psychiatrist will diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric disorders in an Outpatient FQHC setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Eliciting and recording information about patients' medical and psychological histories.
  2. Examining patients to determine their general physical condition.
  3. Ordering or performing various tests, analyses, and diagnostic assessments to understand the patient's condition.
  4. Analyzing reports and findings from tests and examinations to diagnose conditions.
  5. Administering or prescribing treatments and medications.
  6. Referring patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment.
  7. Adhering to health center standards for productivity as defined by the medical director and senior management.
  8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to quality assurance guidelines to help the health center meet its clinical quality goals, following nationally recognized healthcare standards.
  9. Following clinic policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

Education:

MD or DO licensure with completion of residency in psychiatry.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Current California Medical License
  • Board Certification
