Come work as Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

Richmond Hospital Department of Psychiatry is seeking a psychiatrist to join as a permanent full-time member.

The position includes:

1. Richmond Hospital 2 West In-Patient Service (0.5 FTE): providing psychiatric assessment and treatment to in-patients, consulting in the Emergency Department, and liaising with primary care teams.
2. Adult Mental Health Team (0.3 FTE): community-based management of severe mental health conditions, primarily referred from Family Physicians, Emergency Department, and In-Patient Unit.
3. Concurrent Disorders Program (0.2 FTE): specialized care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, collaborating across acute and community settings.

Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited 228-bed facility serving a diverse population, with ongoing expansion plans including a new acute care tower by 2028.

Qualifications include:

• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) license
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
