Job summary

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate PSW: Restorative Aide to support residents in our St. Thomas, Ontario location. This part-time role offers meaningful, hands-on care and the opportunity to contribute to restorative programs within long-term care.

The successful candidate will hold a PSW certificate, a Restorative Care Certificate, current CPR/First Aid is an asset, and be able to work with empathy, teamwork, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Personal Support Worker certificate.
• Restorative Care Certificate required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.
• Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction.
• Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position.
• Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial.

What you bring…

• Certificate of a Personal Support Worker program that meets the requirements of the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its regulations
• Restorative Care Certificate
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
• Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction
• Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position
• Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language
• Punctual and reliable

This position will consist of approximately 15 hours bi-weekly. The starting rate of pay is $29.19 per hour, and the terms and conditions are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
