Job summary

Right at Home Niagara is looking for experienced Personal Support Workers to join our team in Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Grimsby, St. Catharines and nearby areas.

Immediate day shift openings; weekend availability required; be prepared for short and/or split shifts based on client needs. Assets include Italian language skills, Alzheimer's and Dementia care training, and a valid driver’s license or access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate or equivalent required.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Ability to work independently with support of team.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care to clients as per care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living including mobility, hygiene and meal preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and families and document care activities.
