Qualifications

• A genuine passion for providing care and support to others.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-centred mindset.
• Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends.
• A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Current vulnerable sector check screening or clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Engaging in meaningful conversation and building genuine relationships with clients.
• Assisting clients with daily living activities: mobility support, dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding or meal routines as needed.
• Helping with light housekeeping tasks and supporting clients to maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ physical, mental and behavioural health; completing documentation of care activities.

What to Expect in Your Day-to-Day

As a Personal Support Worker, your work will include:
