Qualifications

• Must have either Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid.
• Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred.
• Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (e.g., Toileting, bathing, feeding).
• Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported.
• Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families, ensuring kind and understanding care.
• Accompany clients and assist with walking, exercise, and mobility.

As A PSW You Will

• Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families, able to provide care in a kind and understanding manners to seniors.
