Job summary

AgeCare in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide resident care according to care plans, support daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents and teammates.

You will document care, participate in in-service sessions, assist onboarding of new staff, and follow IPAC policies. Salary is $24.75 per hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth in a compassionate, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker certificate/diploma.
• Meets vocational standards by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meets NAC and Ontario Community Support Association standards.
• Knowledge of sanitation basics and bedside care for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care to ensure it aligns with the care plan.
• Assist in documenting information pertaining to resident care.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
