Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an IMIT Provincial Manager to lead Registration and Switchboard Services across the province. You will drive information management governance, ensure data integrity, and lead teams across multiple locations to achieve standardized health information practices.

The role requires CHIMA registration or equivalent and 5–7 years of leadership in health information management. It includes travel within Nova Scotia and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Leader with 5–7 years of progressive leadership in a health information management context.
• Knowledge of HIS tools, applications and systems of support is required.
• Experience implementing health information management strategies in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of operational plans to meet goals and financial targets.
• Maintain provincial oversight while leading teams for information management and systems transformation.
• Assist clinical programs with information management requests for data collection, audits and quality review.
