Insight Global is seeking a Lead Protection and Control Engineer to execute engineering and consulting services across the US and Canada. You will design, program, test, and commission protection and control applications for various power system projects, reporting to the Grid Automation North America manager.

You'll work within a regional execution team, coordinating with customers and team members while preparing technical reports, proposals, and SOWs.

Competenze

BS or higher in Electrical and Computer Engineering with power systems focus.
7 years of design, study, and analysis of electric power systems.
Knowledge of steady and transient analysis, fault studies, and protection theory.
Familiar with symmetrical components and protection schemes.
Experience with study software and power system tools listed in the job posting.
Knowledge of substation communication protocols and testing equipment.
Proven ability to prepare technical reports and proposals.
