Your future role on our team

Join BBA and make the most of your experience as an Electrical Substation Protection and Control Technician-Designer by actively contributing to various project stages. You’ll be involved in designing protection and control systems for high-voltage substations across Canada. You’ll also be responsible for contributing to site assignments to ensure work quality and system compliance prior to energization. You’ll play a key role in managing projects, coordinating with clients, and delivering quality projects with the BBA team.

• Take on various roles, including that of project leader
• Design protection panels (AC, control, wiring diagrams, etc.)
• Draft installation specifications and prepare material, cable, and interconnection lists
• Participate in site surveys
• Coordinate tasks with other discipline leads

The experience you bring

• College diploma in electrical engineering or other relevant field
• Experience in protection and control projects at Hydro-Québec
• Knowledge of E3 design software
• Knowledge of test equipment and site monitoring
• Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites
• Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
