Job summary

CGIC in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Change Management Consultant for the Claims department. This temporary full-time role (16 months) offers a hybrid work model with two days in office.

You will lead change and communications planning to support business readiness and adoption across Claims teams. You will partner with Claims leaders to identify people-side risks, develop mitigations, and integrate readiness assessments into project plans.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of change management experience.
• Three years of insurance/financial services experience.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships and influence senior leaders.
• Prosci certification required; ACMP or other methodologies are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of change management and communications plans.
• Identify people-side risks with Claims partners and plan mitigations.
• Facilitate actions to drive faster adoption of change.
• Integrate change plans into project plans across Claims.
• Support impact assessments and report progress to stakeholders.
• Escalate issues and drive corrective actions with partners.
