Job summary

CGIC, a leading Canadian financial services co-operative, is seeking a Claims Representative I, Auto. This regular full-time position is hybrid (2 days in office) within the Claims Response Centre. You will investigate, negotiate and settle auto claims, review policy wordings and quantify losses while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or related client service field.
• Post-secondary education in insurance/risk management is an asset.
• Willingness to pursue CIP designation and Provincial Adjuster Licenses.
• English is required; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service and review policy wordings.
• Investigate, negotiate and settle auto claims; quantify losses.
• Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders for timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with team to support peers and ensure quality service.
