Location: Vaughan, ON (Hybrid)

About Our Client

Our client is a highly respected and innovative leader in the construction and real estate industry, known for delivering premium commercial interiors and development projects across the GTA. They are currently seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role that will directly influence the company’s ability to secure high-profile projects.

Role Overview

As the Proposal Manager, you will lead and coordinate the preparation of compelling, client-focused proposals and qualification submissions. You will work closely with business development, estimating, and project management teams to ensure all proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic goals. This position demands a blend of creativity, critical thinking, and technical writing expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal development cycle from RFQ/RFP review to submission
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content and insights for tailored responses
• Write, edit, and format proposal content to align with client expectations and company brand standards
• Manage proposal schedules and ensure all deadlines are met
• Continuously improve the proposal process, tools, and templates
• Maintain a library of reusable content, resumes, project profiles, and certifications
• Conduct competitive research and analysis to strengthen proposal strategies
• Participate in strategy sessions to determine win themes and unique selling propositions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in proposal management, ideally within the construction or real estate development sector
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign in particular), MS Office, and proposal tracking tools
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
• Experience interpreting RFP requirements and compliance protocols
• A high level of attention to detail and a strategic mindset
