Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full-time, Property Services Manager within our Property Services team.

Working within our Repairs division, you will be expected to drive and develop all service areas within Routine Maintenance and Damp Mould and Condensation (DMC). You will develop and implement work programmes, monitor performance, and ensure tenant needs are met. People management is essential, as you will oversee approximately 40 qualified staff, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. You will support the team, create strategies for service improvement, and manage budgets (~£5m). Regular reporting on work areas and improvements, adherence to regulations, and promotion of maintenance initiatives are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications include NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant building trade, with extensive experience in property maintenance or construction management. You should have budget management skills, team leadership experience, and a strong knowledge of maintenance and repairs. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle pressure, and occasional out-of-hours work.
