Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. in Parksville, BC is seeking a motivated individual for a Property Manager in Training role. You will help ensure properties are well-maintained, fully rented, and that staff uphold our customer service standards.

This position trains you to become our Property Manager in the future, with on-site duties including rent collections, leasing applications, move-ins/outs, inspections, and tenant satisfaction. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role.
• High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Effective computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; ERP experience is an asset.
• High degree of professionalism and diplomacy.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction through excellent customer service and communication.
• Ensuring vacancy goals are met including showing available suites and administering leasing applications.
• Assisting all move-in and move-out scheduling, coordination and inspections.
• Regularly inspect grounds, interior hallways, and all common hallways and make recommendations for physical repairs and/or replacement and create work orders as needed.
• Confirming all vacant units/areas are ready to lease.

You will be eligible to receive wages starting from $44,000.00 to $55,000 per year*, this will be determined by your skill set, education and experience.
