Job summary

MatchBox Consulting is partnering with a top Developer-Builder in Western Canada to hire an experienced Property Manager for its commercial portfolio. The role focuses on delivering exceptional tenant service and overseeing day-to-day property operations.

You will report to the VP of Asset Management, manage capital projects, leases, and financial performance, and lead inspections and operating procedures to ensure superior property performance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business or real estate.
• Minimum 3-5 years property management experience in commercial portfolios.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Valid BC driver’s license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the VP of Asset Management on financial performance, property operations, capital project execution, staffing and tenant relations.
• Provide excellent management service to tenants.
• Build revenues and expenses.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable.
• Make recommendations and oversee execution of capital projects.
• Administer leases to ensure all requirements are maintained and obligations are met.
• Complete consistent and regular property inspections.
• Supervise and develop appropriate operating procedures.
• Complete and document move-in and exit reports.

The hired Property Manager will be responsible for the management of the commercial portfolio and ensure highest level of service is provided to the tenants. The ideal Property Manager will have previous exposure managing commercial/industrial properties.
