Job summary

Altis Technology in Ajax, ON is seeking a Property Manager for a 2-month contract to support community housing properties. The role is hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days work from home) and focuses on tenancy matters for senior residents and building operations.

You will manage a portfolio across sites, respond to inquiries, coordinate move-ins/outs, prepare tenancy documentation, and collaborate with maintenance teams and community agencies to resolve housing challenges.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive property management experience, ideally within social or community housing.
  • Strong knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act, LTB procedures, Housing Services Act, and rent-geared-to-income administration.
  • Property Management accreditation is preferred. A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field is preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant business applications.

  • You’ll work closely with maintenance teams and contractors to support building operations, planned maintenance, and resident satisfaction.
  • You’ll collaborate with community agencies and internal partners to support residents and resolve complex housing situations.
