We are looking for a Property, Claims Specialist to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for reviewing estimates from our Prestige RELY vendors and third-party vendors. You will support our Prestige claims teams in assisting clients with high-value assets. Occasionally, you may assist with catastrophic event claims by reviewing estimates from other regions or helping in writing estimates. You will act as a liaison between our Prestige claims adjusting unit and contractors to help manage estimates submitted to us.
**Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate property damage and determine repair or restoration needs, involving direct contact with insureds, claimants, and service providers.
- Prepare repair estimates using Xactimate.
- Maintain effective communication with claims departments.
- Audit contractor estimates for compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with adjusting teams to verify scope of work and coverage.
- Review contractor documentation ensuring accuracy and quantum control.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Stay informed about our products and claim processes.
**Qualifications:**
- College diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Experience managing high-value clients and claims is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency with estimating software, especially Xactimate/Xactanalysis.
