About The Role

We are looking for a Property, Claims Specialist to join our growing team!

You will be responsible for reviewing estimates from our Prestige RELY vendors and third party vendors. You will make a significant contribution to the Prestige claims teams in supporting our clients with high valued assets. You will occasionally be asked to support with catastrophic event assistance on reviewing additional estimates from other regions, or supporting in writing estimates. You will be a liaison between our Prestige claims adjusting unit and the contractors to help facilitate quantum control on estimates submitted to us.

What You'll Do Here

  • Evaluate property damage and evaluate replacement or restoration requirements including direct and in-person contact with insured, claimants, and service providers.
  • Prepare repair estimates using Xactimate.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with claims departments.
  • Audit contractor's estimates in Xactanalysis for compliance with Prestige Rely Guidelines.
  • Collaborate with adjusting teams to verify scope of work with respect to coverage confirmation.
  • Review and analyze all documentation from contractors, ensuring quantum control.
  • Establish and maintain productive business relationships with contractors and other service providers.
  • Stay informed about Intact Prestige products and claim processes

What You Bring To The Table

  • College Diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience
  • 1-2 years experience in managing high-value clients and claims is an asset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction and repair procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with all concerned parties
  • Knowledge of software packages for estimating
  • Computer proficiency with Xactimate/Xactanalysis
