Job summary

Coast Claims Insurance Services in Canada is seeking a Multiline Claims Adjuster to join our team across multiple locations. You will conduct investigations, analyze policies, and coordinate with field experts to assess property damage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
• Experience with property insurance policies and regulations is valuable.
• License level 2 or 3 adjuster or CIP designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations, including site visits and documentation reviews, to evaluate insurance claims.
• Analyze policies to determine coverage and limits.
• Collaborate with field experts and contractors to assess damage and estimate repair costs.
• Negotiate settlements and manage denials with urgency and responsiveness.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of claims.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive investigations, including sitevisits, interviews, and documentation reviews, to evaluate insuranceclaims.

• Effectively manage a diverse portfolio of claim files,including those involving large clients and complex cases.

Qualifications:

• Adjuster license level 2 or 3 or CIP designation is and asset
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalentwork experience is an asset.
• Proven experience in construction and/or buildingknowledge is an asset.
• Experience with Xactimate is an asset
• Proficient in MS Office (OneDrive, Word, Excel)
• Eagerness to learn and excel in a diverse andinteresting field.
• Sense of urgency and high responsiveness.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, witheffective oral capabilities encompassing listening, interviewing, andnegotiating.
