Property Accountant Bilingual (French & English)

We are seeking a Bilingual Property Accountant to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

1. Producing accurate property-level financial reports following set procedures for assigned properties;
2. Providing financial analysis and support to property management and internal departments;
3. Reviewing and analyzing Balance Sheets and Income Statements by property;
4. Distributing financial reports and discussing variances with management within deadlines;
5. Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy;
6. Handling regulatory filings (GST, PST, QST, WSIB, etc.) and maintaining compliance;
7. Assisting in quarterly reviews and annual audits;
8. Supporting property integration and disposition processes;
9. Providing financial data for lender reports as needed;
10. Collaborating on annual property and capital budgets;
11. Suggesting process improvements for financial reporting;
12. Performing special projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience;
• University degree in Business or Finance;
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent;
• Proficiency in French and strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian GAAP;
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
