Job summary

Superior Propane Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Area Operations Manager) to lead a multi-district team responsible for safe, reliable propane delivery and service execution across Southwest Ontario.

You will drive frontline performance, mentor managers, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize routing, scheduling, and workforce planning while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations/Business/related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience leading managers within a matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and achieve results without direct authority.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout Southwest Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Lead a management team to execute delivery and service operations safely and efficiently across Districts.
• Align with peers and leadership on strategic initiatives and workforce planning.
• Drive frontline execution, route adherence, scheduling, and cost-effective customer service.
• Mentor and develop frontline managers, promoting accountability and safety.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Fleet, HSE and other functions to improve efficiency and address issues.
