Job summary

Superior Propane Inc. in Williams Lake, BC seeks a Driver I to safely deliver propane to customers, load/unload, and provide excellent service. You will follow safety standards, perform vehicle inspections, and operate in remote areas as needed.

The role includes overtime and on-call duties, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction. Eligible candidates hold a Class 3 license (Class 1 preferred) with a clean abstract and an Air Brake Ticket, plus 2–4 years of propane-related driving

Driver I

The Propane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance

What you'll do:

Reporting to the District Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The safe operations of Company equipment;
• Timely delivery of bulk liquid gas supplies to a variety of customer locations in the applicable trading area;
• Loading and unloading of propane into bulk trucks and end-use containers;
• Work overtime shifts and take on-call duties in rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Possess current Class 3 driver’s license (Class 1 preferred) with clean Abstract, and Air Brake Ticket;
• 2 to 4 years safe work experience in a propane and/or related industry;
• Experience driving in remote areas;
• Good physical condition due to the heavy lifting/pulling that may be required

Wage: $39.69/hr
