Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. The role supports service excellence in a dynamic, field-based environment.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, follow regulations, and collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes while maintaining safety and quality service. The company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ license required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane deliveries per regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and paperwork.
• Report potential hazards to dispatch.
• Attend team meetings and adapt to varying work schedules.

Job Summary

As a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulationsActively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
