Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Class 3 DZ Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team in Fort McMurray.

You will safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This full-time role requires a valid Class 3 DZ license, a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to withstand physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Competenze

• Valid Class 3 DZ license required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / driving record.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of loading/unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Mansioni

• Load and unload propane, following regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using geography and customer needs.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers safely.
• Complete daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Job Summary: As a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.
Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
