Avenir Energy Ltd. is a leading propane distributor in Canada, delivering to residential and commercial customers from Fort McMurray. As a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver, you will join our Dispatch team to ensure safe, on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

You will load/unload propane, plan routes, and support additional duties as needed. The role may require occasional evenings or weekends and physical work in various weather conditions.

Competenze

• Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver’s license with Air (Q endorsement) required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.

Mansioni

• Load and unload truck with propane in compliance with regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch; serve residential and commercial customers.
• Deliver propane safely and efficiently; complete pre/post trip inspections.
• Follow company and government policies; report hazards to dispatch.
• Occasional evening/weekend shifts; participate in team meetings.

Job Summary

As a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3Commercial Driver’s license with Air (Q endorsement)
• Minimum 2years of commercial driving experience
• Meets Company standards for a commercial driving record, as demonstrated by a satisfactory commercial driver’s abstract.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
