Job summary

Randstad Canada in Mississauga is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a long‑term, full‑time role in a metal finishing shop supporting automotive parts. You must have propane counterbalance forklift experience (3–5 years) and a valid licence, with ability to move metal bins and work in a loud, warm environment near production lines.

Shift is day 7:30am–4pm, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with onsite forklift assessment prior to start; pay is $21/hour, weekly, with potential overtime

Qualifications

Job description

Great opportunity for long term and potential full time hire in automotive environment! We are looking for someone who is experienced with strong (3-5 years min) propane counterbalance experience and valid licence - strong counterbalance experience required propane and manufacturing experience driving as client works with metal bins - experience moving/manipulating metal bins with 4 points of contacts. Fast pace environment, experienced driver needed as the work area is tight, congested and working closely with production lines.

This is a metal finishing shop that deals exclusively in automobile parts. This is one business part of a large group of companies that manufacture and distribute throughout Canada.

Shift :

day shift - 7:30am to 4pm (40 weekly hours with potential of extra hours) Monday to Friday (5 shifts weekly) **candidates will need to do onsite forklift assessment prior to start, during the day shift**

LOCATION:

7007 Davand Drive intersection of Derry Road and Dixie Road, Mississauga ON

PAY RATE :

$21/Hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

minimum 3plus years forklift driving - counterbalance
