Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring a Forklift Operator for our logistics team in Halton Hills, Ontario. This position offers a stable, long-term path with potential for permanency through a contract-to-hire arrangement.

You will safely operate Walkie and Dock Stocker forklifts, load and unload, and support shipping, receiving and inventory control while maintaining high safety standards. Competitive hourly pay and a predictable schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of recent experience operating a Walkie and Dock Stocker.
• Valid external Forklift license (Walkie and Dock Stocker both required).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate Walkie and Dock Stocker forklifts in a manufacturing and logistics setting.
• Load and unload trailers and ensure product integrity.
• Move palletized goods to storage areas or production lines.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and records.
• Assist with manual picking and packing as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a zero-incident workspace.
• Keep the warehouse floor clean and organized to optimize flow.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Move, stage, and store materials safely to keep production on track.
• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in a busy environment.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory goals.
• Maintain high standards of safety and organization throughout the facility.

Shift Options & Location:

• Location: Westbridge Drive, Halton Hills
• Weekday Morning Shift (Mon – Thu): 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekday Afternoon Shift (Mon – Thu): 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
• Weekend Shift (Fri – Sun): 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
