Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Edmonton Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the Life of a Technologist at Pinchin
  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s)
  • Conduct historical and regulatory research
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  • Complete field investigations related to site assessment and sampling of soil, groundwater, and vapour
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Support project scope development and implementation
  • Work independently and in team environments
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
  • Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships
What You Bring to the Pinchin Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
