Our Edmonton, AB branch is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team! The fire alarm service representative will perform duties including maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems as required.

Responsibilities
  1. Take direction from supervisors, coordinators, and support staff as defined by company policy.
  2. Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems.
  3. Ensure the highest standards of system reliability and client satisfaction are met.
  4. Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
  5. Complete work orders and report in a timely manner.
  6. Be on-call for emergency service calls and work.
  7. Act as a liaison between customers and Troy.
  8. Understand and adhere to applicable ULC, CSA, and Canadian Electrical codes and standards.
Qualifications
  1. Two years of community college education in electronics is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a fire alarm technician.
  3. Proficiency in computer use.
  4. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  5. CFAA registration is required.
  6. Strong organizational skills.
  7. Neat and accurate report writing skills.
