Job summary

Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

Ottawa, ON

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Ottawa Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the Life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:
  1. Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
  2. Conduct historical and regulatory research
  3. Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  4. Complete field investigations related to site assessments
  5. Liaise with subcontractors
  6. Support project scope development and implementation
  7. Work in both self-led and team environments
  8. Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives
  9. Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships
What You Bring to the Pinchin Team:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, along with problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
