Job summary

Jobtailor in Montreal, Canada, is seeking a project management specialist to advise PMs on standards, best practices for project definition, planning, and control using Clarity PPM.

You will support start-up activities, create projects in Clarity PPM and SharePoint, track logs, establish cost plans, maintain dashboards and KPIs, and ensure data integrity across portfolios and investments. Fluent French is required; collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in project environments with planning and tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Clarity PPM is an asset.
• Familiarity with Teams, JIRA, SharePoint, and Mural a plus.
• Excellent oral and written French.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Advise project managers on standards and best practices for project definition, planning, and control using Clarity PPM
• Work with project managers to carry out project start-up activities, including creating projects in Clarity PPM, project sites in SharePoint, tracking logs, and other related items
• Support project managers in using the project management tool
• Establish project cost plans in collaboration with project managers
• Support end users in using the Clarity PPM time management tool
• Maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor the submission and approval of timesheets
• Conduct data audits to ensure data integrity
• Coordinate the periodic monitoring of investments, including budget parameters, dashboards, portfolios, delivery trains, projects, and human and financial resources
• Act as a liaison among stakeholders to ensure the effective monitoring and efficient management of a portfolio or program
• Coordinate alignment and interdependencies with other portfolios, programs, or projects when required
• Plan and carry out resource assignments and reservations in collaboration with stakeholders, as needed
• Identify resource conflicts among projects and recommend optimal resource utilization
• Standardize portfolio, program, project, and investment management practices
• Support stakeholders in the evolution and implementation of the value creation system
• Establish and monitor success conditions for value creation and the achievement of expected benefits associated with Beneva’s investments and strategic objectives
• Participate in preparing and measuring management indicators
• Produce project status reports and monitor schedules, effort, and costs to provide portfolios with a clear overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Information Systems Organization), Finance, or an equivalent qualification (project management specialization is an asset)
• 1-3 years of experience in a project environment, particularly in project or resource planning, financial forecasting, task assignment, and tracking
• Strong knowledge of tools relevant to the field, including Excel and Clarity PPM (an asset)
• Knowledge of collaborative tools such as Teams, JIRA, SharePoint, and Mural
• Knowledge of data management tools such as Power BI and Power Automate (an asset)
• Excellent oral and written French
