Job summary

Mécanitec in Sherbrooke, Canada is seeking a Project Manager to lead the technical and commercial management of mechanical repair and assembly projects. You will coordinate engineering, purchasing, suppliers, and subcontractors while ensuring client specifications are met.

The role requires 5 to 10 years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a mechanical engineering diploma. Bilingual English/French is an asset; you will develop bids, manage risk, and promote the

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrate leadership, autonomy, and initiative.
  • Ability to manage client relationships - upstream and downstream.
  • Technical diploma in mechanical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics and fabrication.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to solve client issues innovatively and cost-effectively.
  • Bilingualism is an asset (you must be able to converse in English, though full fluency is not required).
