Job summary

ecl.vincere.io is seeking a Special Projects Project Manager with extensive civil construction and municipal infrastructure experience, including underground utilities and deep servicing. You will manage $7M–$50M projects from estimating through closeout, lead complex, time-sensitive initiatives, and coordinate with municipalities, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction and municipal infrastructure, including underground utilities, deep servicing, earthworks and rehabilitation projects.
• Experience managing projects generally from $7M to $50M across estimating, preconstruction, execution and closeout.
• Ability to lead complex, time-sensitive and high-risk projects outside standard delivery.
• Strong knowledge of water, sanitary, stormwater, deep excavation, shoring, bypass pumping and interface with utilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement strategies and construction methodologies.
• Manage clients, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, suppliers and internal field teams.
• Review contracts, drawings and specifications; manage RFIs, change orders, claims and commercial risks.
• Support estimating, tender submissions, scope development and project handover.
• Coordinate permits, environmental requirements, traffic plans and regulatory approvals.
• Lead emergency infrastructure response with rapid mobilization and repair planning.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, cost and client satisfaction.
• Mentor project coordinators and junior project managers; support cross-project planning.

Education

PMP or similar project-management certification

• Strong knowledge of water, sanitary, stormwater, deep excavation, shoring, bypass pumping and existing utility interfaces
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement strategies and construction methodologies
• Manage clients, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, suppliers and internal field teams
• Review contracts, drawings and specifications and manage RFIs, change orders, claims and commercial risks
• Support estimating, tender submissions, scope development and project handover
• Coordinate permits, environmental requirements, traffic accommodation and regulatory approvals
• Lead emergency infrastructure response, including rapid mobilization and repair planning
• Strong field presence with the ability to resolve construction issues and make timely decisions
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, cost and client satisfaction
• Mentor project coordinators and junior project managers and support operational planning across multiple projects
• PMP or similar project-management training is preferred
• Alberta municipal infrastructure experience and established industry relationships would be a strong asset
