Job summary

Randstad Canada seeks an experienced Project Manager for its Water and Wastewater consulting group in Vancouver. The Senior PM will work with a team of seasoned Project Managers and engineers to lead civil engineering design across all project phases.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, preparing proposals with the Proposal Team, developing schedules, and monitoring budgets while mentoring staff and ensuring design quality.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience delivering municipal engineering projects.
• Experience with local public sector clients is a plus.
• Registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC or an AScT with ASTTBC, or equivalent.
• CAPM or PMP designation preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
• Strong project management, design, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated team management and delegation abilities.
• Proven business development capabilities.
• Conflict resolution skills and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our consulting clients Water and Wastewater group. The Senior PM will work with our clients team of experienced Project Managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Leading civil engineering design work, from the conceptual level through to detailed construction drawings
• Acting as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and support staff
• Engaging in active business development
• Preparing proposals and reports in coordination with our Proposal Team
• Developing project schedules and coordinating resources
• Monitoring budget and progress on projects
• Training and mentorship of our Project Managers and design team
• Undertaking quality control procedures and monitoring design standards on completed work

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6+ years of related experience in local municipal engineering project delivery.
• Documented experience with local public sector clients is an asset.
• Registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC, an AScT with ASTTBC, or equivalent
• Certified associate in project management (CAPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle
• Exceptional project management, design, and time management skills
• Demonstrated team management and delegation skills

• Strong communication and time management skills and ability to work concurrently on several different projects
