Job summary

Amylior in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Canada, is seeking a Product Development and Improvement Project Manager to join its R&D team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will drive continuous product enhancement and implement innovative solutions.

You will plan and coordinate development projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain technical documentation, and help improve development processes while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • College diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in a technical field or product management.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and documentation tools (Gantt charts, Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM is an asset.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) and intermediate-level English.

Job description

Amylior, a rapidly growing company, is seeking a Product Development and Improvement Project Manager to join its Research and Development (R&D) team Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the successful candidate will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our products and the implementation of innovative solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor activities related to product development and improvement projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Prepare and maintain the required technical documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes
  • Ensure compliance with the company's quality and safety standards

Required Skills

  • College diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent education in a relevant technical field or product management, including mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial maintenance
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with project tracking and documentation tools (Gantt charts, Excel, and Word)
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM (Product Data Management) is considered an asset
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written, and intermediate-level English
