Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead residential development initiatives. You will collaborate with senior management to define scope and goals, then craft plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements include 10–15 years in low-rise residential construction, experience with developers/self-performing builders, and strong knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant full cycle or rough-in stages for low-rise residential experience in a Construction environment.
• Experience with Developers and self-performing builders to drive projects end-to-end.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

About Our Client

Our client is a nationally established residential Developer that has experience building landmark projects around the across Canada.

Job Description

In collaboration with senior management, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and associated communications documents.
• Estimate the resources and personnel required to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Assess need for additional staff and/or consultants; liaise with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within and/or outside the organization.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 10-15 years of relevant full cycle or rough-in stages for low-rise residential experience in a Construction environment.

• Ideally worked with Developers, in and self-performing builders understanding how to bring a project from Roof plywood to drywall stages including; SPA, working drawings to starting the project and building themselves
• Experience managing multiple large construction contracts involving consultants, construction firms and general contractors.
• Solid background in preparing and administering consulting and construction agreements
• Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Additional duties, as required
