Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage company-wide projects (technology or business) to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and according to stakeholder expectation.
• Create and update detailed project plans by gathering and analyzing business requirements for all relevant stakeholders (internal/external).
• Direct and coordinate the activities of internal and vendor resources to meet project deliverables.
• Collaborate with the technical and domain leads to manage sprints, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage project communications and provide updates to key audiences, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Support the implementation of project management best practices by maintaining project artifacts, archives and toolsets to be used within the Solutions Delivery team and throughout the organization.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budget or quality of work are met.
• Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or graduate degree in relevant field of study (e.g. business or engineering)
• 5+ years of project management experience
• PMP and/or CBAP designation(s) or working towards PMP certification
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models, with strong knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
• Ability to blend Agile and traditional methodologies to fit specific project and business environments.
• Experience in consulting, aviation or travel is an asset
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Google Workspace , Smartsheet, Trello, JIRA #LI-Hybrid
