Artemis Gold Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Earthworks Supervisor to lead large teams on the Blackwater Mine site in British Columbia, Canada.

The role supports a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off schedule and requires strong safety leadership. You will coordinate daily earthworks activities, supervise equipment operators, align with engineers and surveyors, and ensure work is delivered safely, productively and on schedule.

• 10+ years leading large teams in civil earthworks, mining, Tailings Storage Facility or earth dam construction.
• Proven leadership with safety, efficiency, and productivity as priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate with engineers, surveyors and construction specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
• Managing, coordinating and scheduling daily earthworks construction activities (roads, accesses, laydown yards).
• Overseeing equipment operators and ensuring on-time delivery of the project schedule.
• Collaborating with engineers, surveyors and other construction specialists.
• May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance to ensure PPE effectiveness.
• Assist with supporting employees and maintaining development records.

Overview

Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Location: Blackwater Mine Site

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
• Managing, coordinating and scheduling daily earthworks construction activities, such as:
  • building of roads, accesses, and laydown yards
  • stripping and developing borrowing areas building and compacting of dams and berms
  • installing culverts, french drains and ponds
  • snow removal
  • road maintenance
• Supervision of equipment operators who run the following equipment: rock trucks, water trucks, packers, backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders.
• Effective coordination and utilization of onsite resources to deliver the project schedule safely, productively and on time.
• The ability to delegate tasks to teams and business partners.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with engineers, surveyors, and other construction specialists.

• Assist with supporting employees within the Employee Development Pathway and maintaining appropriate records.

• May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large teams in civil earthworks, mining, Tailings Storage Facility or earth dam construction
• Proven leadership skills with safety, efficiency, and productivity being paramount
• Technical skills: must be able to interpret plans, drawings, maps
• Good knowledge and understanding in heavy equipment capabilities and limitations
• Time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven dedication to seeing projects through to completion
