Qualifications

Position Summary

The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) manages key digital programs and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective resource coordination, and transparent reporting. The Project Manager will lead complex projects related to the Radiation Medicine Program, including clinical application upgrades and infrastructure projects, and develop the RMP Roadmap to track project statuses. The role involves working with diverse stakeholders to plan, execute, and support operational processes, applying project management best practices to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain project charters, plans, and schedules with stakeholders.
  2. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and controls, applying change management and communication best practices.
  3. Lead and coach project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring follow-up.
  4. Manage project budgets and documentation.
  5. Collaborate with digital and business teams to prioritize projects and develop budgets.
  6. Develop resource forecasts and support business planning.
  7. Provide progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  8. Manage procurement, vendor contracts, and relationships.
  9. Apply innovative design and emerging technologies to create holistic solutions.
  10. Facilitate requirements gathering, testing, and implementation with multidisciplinary teams.
  11. Use data analysis and visualization to demonstrate benefits of initiatives.
  12. Implement and sustain organizational change through change management practices.
  13. Develop operational models and transition plans.
  14. Establish governance structures for projects.
  15. Maintain the RMP Project Roadmap and provide updates to leadership.
  16. Lead meetings with Digital and RMP leadership to review project status and priorities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare IT.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience leading end-to-end application and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Proven project accountability and quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • PMI-PMP or equivalent certification required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare information systems, HL7, ITIL, and enterprise architecture is an asset.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, privacy regulations, Epic, referral systems, and provincial projects is an asset.
  • Additional certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma, IIBA, or Change Management are assets.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
