Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an environmental professional to advance as a Contaminated Sites Project Coordinator within our Site Investigation and Remediation team.

The role focuses on coordinating contaminated site assessments, remediation, and risk management for federal clients and northern environments. Typical duties include developing scopes of work, managing field teams, and producing regulatory reports, with field work and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness and commitment to procedures.
• Knowledge of contaminated site investigations and remediation in northern environments.
• Experience with PFAS investigation/remediation is preferred.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote and participate in Stantec’s Health and Safety Program.
• Lead scopes of work, cost estimates for Phase I ESA and Phase II ESAs.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors for field scopes of work.
• Conduct or lead field work on complex projects; mentor field staff.
• Liaise with project managers and discipline leads during execution.
• Analyze data and prepare regulatory-compliant reports.
• Support marketing and proposal activities.
