Project Manager, Construction

Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Urban area. Commercial and/or industrial construction. Budgetary responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors.
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
• Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
• Plan and manage budgets.
• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Oversee the analysis of data and information.
• Prepare reports.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Supervision

Supervision of 11-15 people.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word.
