Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced ICI Project Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale, new build commercial and/or institutional projects in the GTA. The Project Manager will be responsible for full cycle management from conception to completion. This is an office-based position in the north Toronto area, with occasional travel to site.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the full cycle of projects from conception to completion, communicating progress to key stakeholders.
2. Oversee scheduling, drawings, budgets, change orders, and other project components.
3. Lead the project management team, supporting and utilizing each member effectively.
4. Coordinate efficiently with the site team through strong communication skills.
5. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, prioritizing the company's best interests.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an ICI Project Manager, managing large-scale institutional or commercial projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Gold Seal Certification is preferred.
• Experience in negotiation and project budgeting.
• Knowledge of LEED certification.
• Proficiency with construction software and tools.
