Job summary

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager for commercial construction projects. Manage delivery across a diverse client base and coordinate with design-build teams.

Projects typically range from several million dollars, with ownership of schedules and costs, and collaboration with estimating and BD teams. The role requires 5+ years of PM experience, post-secondary construction education, and the ability to travel monthly to site visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Post secondary education in construction or related discipline.
• Knowledge of design-build, fixed price and construction management delivery methods.
• Ability to travel on average once a month to sites under construction.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial project delivery and coordinate with the project team.
• Participate in new project sales meetings with BD lead.
• Prepare, monitor and update construction schedules and job costs.
• Prepare, maintain, and update project files.
• Manage owner and consultant-initiated change notices and change orders.

Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager (Commercial Construction) for a high quality, well-established design-build General Contractor and Construction Manager. With over 50 years of industry experience, our client has completed over 2000 projects in commercial, institutional, education, government, healthcare to name a few.

The successful Project Manager will be able to work on variety of projects across BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and other Provinces, while collaborating closely with Project Managing and Estimating Teams. You will lead projects ranging from 3 to 8 million dollars (or one larger project) in the design-built environment. You will enjoy both ability to take ownership of the projects delivery and ability to access support of the team.
