TransLink is seeking a results-driven Project Manager in the Vancouver area to lead the Real-Time Transit Information System (RTIS) enhancements. You’ll coordinate across departments and external partners to improve accuracy, reliability, and user experience for customers and operations teams.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The requirements for this job are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in business or computer sciences or a related discipline. And five (5) years of related experience or/and equivalent combination of education and experience. A Project Management Professional designation would be desirable.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Solid experience with the management of risk, change, issues, time, scope, resources, budget, and quality
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Project and other tools that support project management
• Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with business and IT stakeholders
• Good understanding of all major activities for a business system implementation such as analysis, design, development, and deployment
• Ability to interact effectively with business and technology groups in order to deliver highly efficient solutions

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a results-driven Project Manager to lead the enhancement of our Real-Time Transit Information System (RTIS). In this role, you’ll work across departments and with external partners to improve the accuracy, reliability, and user experience of RTIS for our customers and operational teams. You’ll manage the full project lifecycle—from planning to implementation—while driving stakeholder alignment, system integration, and performance monitoring. Recruitment Process

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week.

This is a full-time temporary position for 12 months.

Work Designation

Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $100,080 - $150,120 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.

The Total Compensation Package, which includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility as well as other employment offerings will be discussed in detail as your application progresses.
