What You Will Do
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager acts as the key TTC representative/point of contact for the one of the four provincial transit expansion projects namely Ontario Line, Scarborough Subway Extension, Eglinton Crosstown West Extension and Yonge North Subway Extension. The Project Manager works collaboratively with Metrolinx, Infrastructure Ontario, by being the representative for TTC to ensure that the projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and with requisite quality to meet TTC standards where applicable as well as transit service, operating and maintenance requirements. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of TTC’s work on the projects as well as TTC’s program scope delivery, financial accountability, contract management, schedule management, construction quality, site safety and security, and stakeholder relations. The Project Manager advises the Senior Project Manager on project status against the schedule, milestones, deliverables, requirements, and quality measures. Promotes a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination. Provides leadership in the development and implementation of inclusive and accessible policies, programs and/or services for employees and customers in accordance with TTC's commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC's policies. Participates in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.
