The Ministry of Highways is seeking a Project Manager for the Construction Delivery team in Saskatoon for a 1-year term. You will oversee highway construction delivery, coordinating internal resources and consulting partners.
Candidates must hold a BSc in Engineering or a two-year engineering degree with registration eligibility (APEGS or SASTT) and eight years of related experience, with local highway knowledge valued.
The Opportunity:
The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal andleadership skills to join our Construction Delivery team for a 1-year term. This position will be based out ofSaskatoon; but other locations may be considered.
As a Project Manager, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for the construction ofhighway projects.
To qualify for the Project Manager position, you will possess a Bachelor of Science degree inengineering from an accredited university and be eligible for registration as a professionalengineer or engineer-in-training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), OR you will possess a two-year degree/diploma in engineering, be eligiblefor registration with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT), and have
eight years related work experience.
Work will include managing construction delivery by internal resources and contracting consultantsto administer construction projects, and liaising with the consultants throughout the contractedprojects. Local highway construction knowledge and experience will be considered an asset.
